You know sometimes it’s really tough running your own business, isn’t it?
No one else really understands… your partner, parents, sisters, girlfriends – if they haven’t done it themselves then they don’t know. And, despite their best intentions the “advice” they offer is not always what we need or want to hear.
So, I’m checking in with you. I’m curious about something.
Last week I talked about knowing what your business dreams were and how to turn them into reality. Inevitably there is always a GAP between the now and the dream.
And you have to embrace the GAP, not be afraid of it.
And in order to embrace the GAP, rather than be paralysed with fear or overwhelm, some other things have to happen.
For a start, you must focus on the outcome that you want for your business.
When you keep your outcome in front of mind then the actions you take are all feeding into this. Taking action is the bit that people often struggle with – consistent, daily action.
So it’s also really important that you find the ability to be held accountable – either by yourself or by someone else – for what you want and need to achieve in your business in order to realise the dream that lives on the other side of that GAP.
Check out my video from this week that talks about where I know I’m lacking in discipline and accountability and what I’ve done to put that right!
When you really want something enough then you commit and invest in that wholeheartedly because the action you need to take is worth the outcome that you truly want!
Making sense so far?
I work with amazing women like you. Women who have felt overwhelmed by what needs to be done, under pressure to be like everyone else, undervalued by clients, family and friends and unable to see the wood for the trees. And although they’ve been running their businesses it’s felt hard, draining and thankless….
I’m all about
- clarity of vision
- outcome-focused goal setting
- taking action
- being accountable
- achieving great results
So have a think about what you really want to achieve in your business.
And then ask yourself what investment you are prepared to make in order to have that happen?
If you, like me, enjoy being curious about stuff, then message me and we can have a chat about your business dreams and how you want to achieve them.
