You know the one. The Flipping Awesome Business dream that you keep hidden away in your own secret world and don’t share with anyone in case the wish doesn’t come true?!
We’re taught from an early age that if we tell our wishes or dreams out loud then “they won’t come true!!”
The most powerful way of achieving your dreams is to
➡ state them out loud and share them
➡️ write them down
➡️ make them real
➡️ visualise them happening
And I want to be really clear with you here – these have to be your business dreams. Not someone else’s version of what success looks like. This is your dream and vision for your business. You are here to tread your own path and decide what it is that’s going to make you truly happy.
This is absolutely NOT about the HOW – that’s where so many of us get stuck. We’re so ingrained in the doing that we get caught up in the practicalities of taking action before we have truly sketched out, written, visualised or felt our dream.
The real starting point for your business is the WHAT.
WHAT will it look like
WHAT will you feel and how will you know when you’ve achieved it
WHAT will be happening in your business and your life as a result of achieving it
Take some time this week to reconnect with your Business Dream. Whatever stage of business you’re in, it’s super important to be clear about your dream, your vision, your goal.
This will guide you through some pointers to get those juices flowing again and the passion fired up in your belly to tap right back into your Business Dream. Having a truly compelling vision about your business is the thing that will keep you going through the tough times – of which, there are many! Let’s not sugar coat it, running a business can be a tough thing. Very often we’re on our own and digging deep.
So, imagine digging deep when you’re not even clear about what’s waiting at the end of that rainbow!
You need to know what your dream business will look and feel like. You can journal about this and harness the real power of writing out your intentions and dreams. And if journaling isn’t for you, then how about creating a vision/dream board? Alternatively, taking some time out of this busy hectic world, just for ten minutes, to sit and visualise yourself in your business in 6 or 12 months time is such a powerful thing to do.

And lastly, embrace the gap.
There is bound to be a gap, a chasm even, between your dream and your current reality in business. This is not to be feared, it’s to be acknowledged and welcomed. There’s work to do and that’s totally cool. One step at a time ladies – forward is forward and this is the first step!
