This week has been all about reflection hasn’t it. And rightly so.
12 months on from the announcement of a global pandemic and lockdown.
We’ve all been touched in different ways in our businesses and personal lives by what’s happened and no one has been immune to the ripples that Covid has caused throughout “normal” life.
And it’s right that we should have moments to pause, reflect and remember – and also to use these opportunities to learn. To learn from those things and to move forward into the future for a brighter business and life for us all.
And, whilst I am mostly known for strategy, business planning, momentum & accountability (all future focused & forward moving elements to business), those of you that know me will also know that I bang on all the time about the power of reviewing and the importance of taking time out to reflect, review and record your business activity and achievements.
Because when we make time to do that, then we learn. We learn about what’s gone well and is working. We also get to see what’s not quite right before it starts to go really wrong!
When we afford ourselves the time to review our own performance in business we learn what we want more of and what we want to ditch.
It keeps us on the right path without going off on a road to nowhere and we build up a knowledgeable picture of our business throughout the changing seasons – what patterns might there be that we didn’t even know?
I’m inviting you to take that time out and join me over in Build your Brilliant Business with Anna, next Wednesday at 8am.
You can stop telling yourself you’ll do it at the weekend, or one evening when there’s nothing on tv, or even when mercury’s no longer retrograde (plus all the other BS you use!) and actually spend one simple hour thinking about what’s happened in the last 3 months and how you can use that knowledge to shape the next three!
- You’re more than welcome
- You can ask any questions you want
- You can download the workbook
- You can even watch back later if you really really can’t join us live!
Have an awesome day,
